Steel Asia Manufacturing Corporation Information Technology Department conducts its 60 hour Android and Java Programming Workshop in response to the growing need of mobile apps in the industry nowadays. Steel Asia Manufacturing Corporation partnered with EGlobioTraining send four of their Programmers and Developers to attend the 60 hour Android and Java Training.

The corporate training was held at Steel Asia Corporate Office in Taguig City and was facilitated by Prof. Erwin M. Globio, Managing Director and Senior Technical Trainer of EGlobioTrainingPhilippines. The training starts with the discussion of Java Programming including the basic concepts, Obeject Oriented Programing, Java GUI Components, Event Handling, Multithreading, Networking and Server Connection. There were some examples, actual demonstration, and practical exercises on each of the topics to ensure the quality learning acquired by the participants.

Right after the completion of the Java Training, the team immediately proceed to Android Training which covers, Android Basic Concepts, Activities, Intents, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers, SQLite, Layouts, Android Hardware Interfaces, Network and Server Connection, XML Parsing and JSON Parsing.

In conclusion, Prof. Erwin M. Globio ensures that all the trainees had been able to cope up with the lessons and grasps all the skills being inculcated by the trainer by giving them some exercises wherein they could be able to practice and apply what they have learned from the workshop. The trainer also gave them the copy of all the resource materials for them to be able to continue the great journey of developing their own Mobile Apps.
